Noisette D’asie from the House of Katana parfums Noisette is a French word it means Hazelnut and Asie means Asia. That means Noisette D’asie means Asian Hazelnut. I think Asian hazelnut here means Oud. Noisette D’asie is a powerful oud nuclear, I think the philosophy here is to uplift all the facets of Thai, Cambodian oud with its respective accords. Brother Alp Velioğulları could easily add some citrusy or flower notes but that would only make this composition a regular something. We would say oh this perfume reminds me of that composition, but thankfully no rather you will wonder wow how many verities of oud actually here in this composition. I get Thai, Cambodian, Malaysian and Hindi. May be there aren’t 4 types of ouds may be there are more or less hence all the other element like nuts, spices, chocolate, Tobacco made this composition so rich and a heaven for Oud lovers. From the beginning to the last you will only experience a rock-hard oud journey. It starts with oozes rich resinous woody character and is complemented by powerful plumes of sticky candied exotic sweetness. You can also be able to detect nutty vibe along with some fruity and chocolaty. In the middle sweet woody vibe will be slightly more prominent, in this stage my nose tells me I am getting my favorite Malaysian Oud. Raw tobacco can be detected here. Dry down has hint of hindi oud dry down but with tons of gourmand in it. This mouthwatering creation is so seductive you will keep smelling you hand in every second. This is also crowd pleasing no skanky vibe of the oud is present at all, rather a soft oud with creamy gourmand. 100% natural ingredients so it will get better with age.
